"Maybe you find other people, people she thinks are good, who do it, too, and tell her about them."
Friend shook his head. "She'll change her mind about them and think they are bad."
"Well, you can try and dissect what she thinks makes it bad and demonstrate to her that she is mistaken."
"Ha, ha, ha. You don't know her very well."
"Is she utterly impervious to this?"
"Completely."
"Hmm." Director frowned in thought. "Maybe you can seduce her into doing it herself."
"Impossible."
"Hmm."
"You think I should stop doing 'the bad' and be content with her?"
"If you're sure she's that adamant, which is more important to you? Your bad or her good?"
"Well, when you put it that way, it seems foolish for me to choose my bad. Maybe I can find some neutral substitute for it."
"Like what?"
"I don't know how to go about finding one."
"Why not probe her to find out what's she fine with. You might be pleasantly surprised."
