"That was some game you played there, buddy!" said Coach.
"Thanks," said Youth mildly.
"Aren't you excited?"
"Sure. Hi, Director."
Director nodded hello.
"Where's your father?" asked Coach.
"I don't know. He was supposed to be here. I guess he's late."
"Hang on. I'll give him a call."
"Two home runs and a triple. Not bad," said Director with a smile.
"Thanks, Director. This was one of my best games. Are you always going to help coach us or was it just for today?"
"I was filling in for Assistant Coach while he's sick. I don't know if I'll be back."
"Yeah."
"I got a hold of him," said Coach. "He's stuck in a meeting. Director, he wants to know if you can take Youth home."
"Sure, no problem."
"Well, again, great game, Youth! I'll see you tomorrow! Thanks for filling in today, Director!" Coach walked off and finished his conversation with Youth's father.
"Where's your car?" asked Youth.
