"What do you think he thought would happen after everything had been revealed to everyone?" asked Son.
"I don't know. Universal love and understanding?"
Son laughed softly. "Yeah, it must have been something like that. Misunderstandings always upset him much more than they did other people. And he was always taking the side of people whom he felt were being misunderstood."
"Do you think he loved those people?"
"You know, yes - yes, I do think he loved them. You put your finger right on it."
"Maybe we have more of a window into his psychology here. Maybe he felt misunderstood and loved people like himself, the misunderstood."
"Yes, I can see how this ties into his faith. The misunderstood shall be saved in the great revelation. What do you think happens to the ones who were doing the misunderstanding?"
"They are overjoyed to learn the truth."
"No, really?"
"Sure, why not?"
"No enmity?"
"Not when there is love and understanding for all."
"It almost sounds like we're mocking his faith. It's a beautiful faith, Director."
"Yes it is, Son."
"Isn't it odd that he has no God in the picture, overseeing everything?"
"Yes, the absence of God in this faith is striking. It just goes to show you that you don't need Him in order to believe."
