Crash
"How did the hard drive crash?" asked Student.
"Oh, I don't know," said Youth, frustrated.
"Do you have a backup?" asked Director.
Youth looked embarrassed and said nothing.
"I see."
"What's the most important thing you'll lose if you can't get it working?" asked Student.
Youth sighed. "My music."
"How long will it take before we'll know whether that recovery tool works?" asked Director.
"Hours."
"Well, it's too nice a day to sit in here and wait. Let's take a walk down to that restaurant at the end of the street and have lunch. What do you say?"
"Sounds good," said Youth as he pushed himself away from his desk.
"What shall we talk about along the way?" asked Student.
"Anything but crashes," said Youth.
"What about human crashes?" asked Director.
Youth looked mildly surprised and interested. "What do you mean?"
"Oh, you know, like when those rock stars cancel tour dates because they say they are suffering from 'exhaustion'."
